Old Villagers Stories (Love, Fantasy...)

How melodious were the tales of fathers and grandfathers we enjoyed in that pleasant session in which family members gather around a fire that has turned to ashes, that these tales may be a warm source of intense contemplation of the beauty of those pleasing and joyful words. It comes out of the mouth of the grandfather, and silence hangs over the place of love for those words that classified those who are gone ... Here I will tell you stories from my brief memory through the years to open the pages in your hands.

1) Boufardwa (the owner of Al-Mahras)
I did not know from the ancestors if he was a human, a ghost, a jinn or what? But when I was young, I imagined him as a genie coming from time to time, but they used to tell us that he used to come every evening, to start pounding the wooden bowl so hard that the whole tribe could hear him, announcing his coming to kidnap the little ones. In the "masher", he crushes them as he crushes grains, spices or food, so that fear begins to infiltrate the hearts of children, so they whisper to each other, declaring their fear and surrender to the orders of adults.
2) Bifidn (big toe)

Every time has its leg, this man known to my grandparents as “Bifden”, was in a time called the time of the wicked or the time of the strong eating the weak. At this time, the conflict between the tribes was permanent, over lands and wealth, and one day it was announced in the village of this man that the men of the neighboring tribe had gone out to an area called “Tasgent” in order to seize it, to lead the men of the village heading to that area, to confront the greedy in their lands As soon as they arrived, they were surprised by the strength of the enemy.
